The Strategy Group includes senior representation from statutory agencies and law enforcement partners operating in Northern Ireland.
It provides a forum for information and expertise to be shared in support of the development and enhancement of operational partnerships.
Working together, the Group seeks to reach a collective understanding of the threat of organised crime, including evolving and emerging forms of criminality. The Group allows partners to identify and maximise opportunities for multi-agency collaboration in terms of both the operational and policy responses to address the threat.
The Group oversees the implementation of the Organised Crime Strategy. It also provides strategic direction to a number of thematic Sub Groups which each focus on the response to tackling specific crime types.
