Modern Slavery Helpline

The Home Office Launches a campaign to raise awareness of modern slavery in Britain.

A major campaign aimed at raising public awareness of modern slavery launches with a TV advert this evening (31 July), alongside a dedicated websiteopens in a new window showing people the signs to look out for and a helpline for the public to report their suspicions.

A national modern slavery helpline (0800 0121 700) has been launched where you can get advice and information on how to spot the signs of slavery, as well as report your suspicions. The helpline is supported by the NSPCC, and offers information and advice to both child and adult victims of slavery, who will be referred to organisations from whom they can receive appropriate advice and care.

Alongside the helpline, a dedicated website - www.modernslavery.co.uk – has been set up, which has information on the different types of slavery, as well as an online tool where you can report your suspicions.

If you suspect slavery is happening near you, call 0800 0121 700 or the PSNI on 101.
