Border offers no protection to organised criminals: Woodward

Security Minister and Chair of the Security Minister and Chair of the Organised Crime Task Force (OCTF), Shaun Woodward MP, today welcomed the Assets Recovery Agency’s latest action to secure £140,000 from alleged fuel smuggling.

ARA secures £140,000 from alleged fuel smuggling

The Assets Recovery Agency (ARA) has been granted a Civil Recovery Order at the High Court in Belfast for the sum of £140,000. The Order was granted following an agreed settlement between the Agency and Patrick Belton, former resident of Concession Road, Crossmaglen, who is currently living at Inishkeen, Co. Monaghan.
